Dr. Teofilo R. Sanchez III has created a successful practice environment and philosophy of healing for all of his patients and providers. With over 20 years of practice experience in primary care, emergency medicine and EMS medicine, Teofilo has built an elite team in the health and wellness arena.Dr. Sanchez is board certified in Anti-Aging Medicine by the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M) and also holds a fellowship certification in Cardiometabolic Medicine from George Washington University. He was one of the first truly integrative medicine practitioners in Texas.
He is a topic expert on metabolic health, vascular health, hormones, weight loss, autoimmune disease, mental health, thyroid disorders, gut microbiome, cognitive health, aging issues and multiple other topics. He is currently focusing on the peptide revolution and integrative psychiatry.
Education
Teofilo attended Jefferson High school in San Antonio and graduated in 1990. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Incarnate Word in San Antonio & then went on to earn his medical degree from the University of Texas in Houston & graduated in the year 2000. Dr. Sanchez completed his residency in family medicine in 2005.

Dr. Sanchez stays current in the medical field through his memberships in several prestigious medical organizations. He is a professional member of the International Association for Physicians in Aesthetics Medicine & the National Association of EMS Physicians. Using his expertise & skills, Dr. Sanchez is able to reach a wide range of diverse patients.
Professional Successes
In addition to his private practice, Dr. Sanchez serves as the ER Director of Southwest General Hospital in San Antonio, Texas as well as the EMS Director of Kinney & Val Verde Counties in Texas. He became a board-certified fellow in anti-aging medicine with the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine.
